"All Shook Up" by Joe DiPietro

This fun and exciting musical is loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Elvis Presley rides into a struggling town and turns it upside down! Featuring hits such as Blue Suede Shoes, Jailhouse Rock and Devil in Disguise, this show will have you laughing and wanting to jump up and dance!

Day 1 – Wednesday, August 22, 2012

This morning we’ll begin at Rouses Point at 7:00 a.m. From there we’ll pick up in St. Albans at 7:45, Winooski at 8:15, Waterbury at 9:15, Berlin at 9:30, Randolph at 9:45 and White River Jct. at 10:15. We’ll travel to Beverly, MA. When we arrive we’ll have time to explore the downtown area before the show. The village of Beverly was founded in 1626 as an extension of Salem. Beverly was named after a town in Yorkshire, England. In 1775 the local schooner, Hanna, was commissioned and armed by General George Washington as the first ship in his Continental Navy. Beverly played an important role in the first 2 years of the Revolutionary War. This afternoon we’ll enjoy the North Shore Musical Theater’s presentation of “Al Shook Up” by Joe Dipietro. This evening we’ll have dinner in Peabody and we’ll stay there overnight.

Day 2 – Thursday, August 23, 2012

This morning we’ll travel to Salem to see the Witch Museum and the Peabody Essex Museum. We’ll then depart at 2:00 p.m. and head home.
