Holland America Eastern Caribbean Cruise
All aboard for this exciting cruise to the Eastern Caribbean! We'll travel to St. Thomas from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the Eurodam, one of Holland America's newest ships. Along the way we'll see Grand Turk and San Juan, and we'll learn about amber, the 'jewel' of the Caribbean.

Day 1 – Saturday, February 11
Today we travel to Burlington International Airport to meet your Tour Manager. We will fly to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and enjoy the sunshine while waiting to board the Eurodam. Later in the afternoon we'll board the ship and head for the Eastern Caribbean.
Day 2 – Sunday, February 12
Today we'll have free time to explore the ship, go shopping, play at the casino, lie in the sun or take in a show.
Day 3 – Monday, February 13
This morning we arrive at Grand Turk Island. We'll meet our local guide at the ship and board an air-conditioned bus. As we're heading to the northern end of the island, our guide will hand out binoculars and bird identification cards, and will provide general information about Grand Turk. Should wildlife be spotted, the bus will stop for a few minutes of observation. We'll visit the 'First Settlement' and learn about the salt trade and Grand Turk's salt racing past. We'll visit the on-site museum and gift arboretum.
Day 4 – Tuesday, February 14
Today, Valentine's Day, we'll visit San Juan, one of the oldest capital cities in the Western Hemisphere. We'll have a walking tour of the city, passing many historic sites along the way.
Day 5 – Wednesday, February 15
Today we'll enjoy a full day on St. Thomas Island; part of the U.S. Virgin Islands. With our local tour guide, we'll visit the famous 99 steps in the quaint historic district of Kongens Quarter. We'll see the the Caribbean World Amber Museum, home to one of the most extensive collections of amber objects and jewelry in the world. We'll visit the stunning colonial manor house of the Haagensen family, built in 1827 and surrounded by terraced gardens. At the completion of our tour we'll head to Main Street for the great shopping in St. Thomas, and then board the ship to rest and relax in luxury.
Day 6 –Thursday, February 16
Today we'll enjoy a day on board with shipboard activities and fun in the sun.
Day 7 – Friday, February 17
We'll have a free day today at Half-Moon Cay, Bahamas. Hang out in groups or individually while exploring and partaking in the wonders of Half-Moon Cay.
Day 8 – Saturday, February 18
This morning we'll arrive in Ft. Lauderdale, and after breakfast we are homeward bound with fond memories of the Eastern Caribbean.
